How does it work?

  • If you haven’t used PawSquad already, download the app so it’s always there for you (recommended) or go to www.pawsquad.com. Register, and select Vets Now as your partner.

  • Choose your time slot. Appointments are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be straight away or scheduled for later.

  • Consults cost from £24 pay-as-you-go for a GP vet appointment. Alternatively, you can subscribe to the service for £8 a month and this gives you ongoing unlimited (fair usage policies apply) GP vet calls, 24 hours a day, for ALL the pets in your household.

  • The Vet will offer advice on caring for your pet. If your pet needs to be seen, they will advise you.

We've partnered with PawSquad to help you get the advice and reassurance you need, wherever you are.

Get expert advice in minutes from anywhere in the UK – from home, your car, walking the dog or even further afield in a hotel or Airbnb.

When to use PawSquad?

Whilst video vet consultations will never take the place of in-person appointments in our practice, there are times when this service might be particularly useful to you. Many queries can be resolved without visiting a practice, including:

  • Non-urgent queries
  • Preventative care advice
  • Advice on ongoing and chronic conditions
  • Arthritis care – if you’d like a care plan to help make your pet more comfortable, select this type of appointment
  • Behaviour and training plans – PawSquad have appointments available with accredited behaviourists who will talk to you and design plans for your pet. These are much cheaper than in-person behaviourist appointments and take place in the comfort of your own home!

Please be aware that vets can’t prescribe medication via video chat.

Note: PawSquad consults are designed for non-urgent and triage queries only. In an emergency, please contact us or your out-of-hours care provider directly.
